Hello Everyone
This is a quick reminder to let you know that this magazine is also published on the web. Emails sent to your personal inbox contain important reminders for events and to inform you of what our members are doing. However, we do post information that is not sent to you in an email.
What is wonderful about this platform is that it is multifunctional. We have space to host podcasts which we will be doing in the future as well as the Notes section which is similar to Twitter (sorry X) world.
In between our emails that are sent to you, please go to the website and check out the “Notes” section, where we post scientific articles, other news articles, and other information that won’t be sent to you in an email. It is also a way to prevent your email from being saturated. Please feel free to leave comments and interact here. We want to know that you are getting the benefits from this newsletter as a networking site.
There you will also see categories wich may pertain to your interests which are available to view at your leisure. We hope to fill all categories of aquaculture and mariculture with exciting projects happening around the Caribbean.
Today’s note talks about the closure of Queen Conch Season written by Petcheries Blog a Jamaican columnist who is very passionate about Jamaica’s environment and its lack of awareness and importance in Jamaica.
Reminder: This is the Conch Closed Season in Jamaica (and support for restoration efforts is needed)

Thank you so much for sharing my article about the quirky Queen Conch! Now, I am on Substack myself but still haven't figured out how to PUBLISH a draft article. I can't get it out of draft! I am really looking forward to doing a daily mini-post, but haven't been able to figure it out. It's too complicated!
