Fundraising Interns needed
3 volunteer positions open: interns are needed for the Road to Colombia - World Aquaculture conference, September 23 -27.
Hello Everyone
The Caribbean Aquaculture Education and Innovation Hub (CAEIH) is pleased to announce that abstracts from 14 scientists from around the Caribbean have been accepted for oral presentations at the World Aquaculture Conference - Latin American and Caribbean Chapter. Their research ranges from - tilapia production, conch, aquaponics, coral restoration and mariculture in the Caribbean.
CAEIH needs volunteers to help us raise $20,000K to bring scientists to Colombia. Women in Caribbean Aquaculture will have a booth and in addition, CAEIH will need funding to create marketing materials. The limitation of the lack of presence of Caribbean Scientists at international conferences is primarily the cost of travel and accommodation. The mission of CAEIH is to support the research scientists who are needed to transform aquaculture in the Caribbean.
